Visiting Advice

I am visiting Oahu for the first time in August. I have never been near the ocean or swam in the ocean. I see a lot of mixed comments about how safe/dangerous it is to swim and wanted some opinions! Would be greatly appreciated :) I would love to do some touristy things like snorkeling but am slightly afraid

2 Kittens Need Home!

At 3 weeks old these baby kittens mother died, our friend raised them until now (9 weeks) and is looking for a forever home for them :) please PM me or comment if interested!

Is it just me?

What’s the deal with all the “Please be patient. Student Driver” stickers I see plastered on so many cars these days? I even see them on cars that are obviously not being driven by “new” or “student drivers” such as lifted tacos and 4Runners. What am I missing? Feels like a big inside joke sometimes.

Spectrum internet: Anyone else seen increased latency to USW servers recently?

I used to get about 70ms ping to USW servers (California) but now it's closer to 95-100ms. I contacted spectrum support and ofc they have no idea what I'm talking about. I'm plugged directly from my PC to the modem via ethernet. It looks like Hawaii Telcom fiber might finally be available in my house, does anyone know if they have better latency? The speeds are definitely way better.
