In case you haven't heard, Scotland has recently passed a bill to make it easier for transgender people to get their legal gender changed, but this bill has been blocked by the English government. This is an important reminder that (a) the Celtic Nations are victims of Anglo imperialism and not allowed to practice self-rule and (b) the English government has an official State Church that is used to justify oppressing colonial populations.

Only about a third of Scottish people identify as Christians, with most of them being members of the Church of Scotland. That a foreign government and a foreign church can reach into Scotland to deprive the Scottish people of their rights shows how any mingling of Church and State inevitably results in the State corrupting the Church and transforming it into little more than the propaganda arm of the ruling class.

It is my firm belief that the Anglo aristocracy and their American cousins represent the greatest threat to global peace, economic justice and Christianity itself. Anglo-American capitalist imperialism represents the dominant political force in the world today, and the American and British governments are wholly without any redeeming value. The United States and United Kingdom were founded on exploitation, slavery and imperialism, and as such, the U.S. and U.K. governments cannot be reformed, only fought against and abolished. An evil tree can never bear good fruit. (Matthew 7:17-18)

The purpose of this post is not to attack members of the Anglican Church or churches in the Anglican communion, but to expose how State Churches are tool of oppression utilized by the ruling class. Many individual Anglicans are kind and charitable people and have made positive contributions to humanity, but their good nature is corrupted when they are told that being a good Christian means being loyal to ruling elite. Perhaps Anglicanism and its outshoots are capable of reform, but in order to do this, they must make a firm break with the ruling class and bite the hand of their former masters.

There is no King except Christ. There is no Kingdom except the Kingdom of God. Amen.
