Hi everyone, I am an American Socialist looking to immigrate to The Netherlands. In summary, I’ve grown up in extreme poverty in America and been subjected to our failed health systems and gun violence (I have almost been shot twice as a normal citizen).

I am just curious to how I would be viewed after I immigrate by other Dutch native socialists ? From my experience here in America, most socialists are picky to make friends with other socialists, making the Social cause very divided and useless.

I have been to the Netherlands twice for 3 months total over the past few years and been to many cities, I feel very familiar with the culture.

Any insight to making socialist friends, or advice on how to assist the socialist cause as an American immigrant would be really helpful. Thank you all.
