Thanks for visiting our AMA (“Ask Me Anything”) with American Idol Season 7 Finalist Carly Smithson!

Carly has a long association with Idol, not only as a contestant but as a mentor, segment host, guest performer, and judge. She will be here at 8pm Eastern answering questions as u/ImCarlySmithson

Carly describes her two passions in life as rock music and medical tattoo. She’s just been appointed to host a new rock show podcast. It starts filming this summer, and Carly will continue to teach medical tattoo in San Diego (@thebrowsuite). A new album should be ready by January 2024!

Ask away!

———————-

As of 10:30pm, the AMA has concluded. Thank you, Carly, for joining us and giving such thoughtful, specific answers to so many questions!

Here are the performances mentioned in this AMA, in case anyone hasn't seen them:

"Jesus Christ Superstar"

"Come Together"

"Blackbird"

"The Letter"

"Alone"

"Here You Come Again"
