Posts about Algonquin College
Hey y'all.
Not sure how active this subreddit is, but I'm the Club Leader of a political campus club and trying to put eyes on this issue. Algonquin College is refusing to release the candidate placements, vote totals, and turnout, to the constituent groups who voted. We'll be filing an appeal to the Election Review Board with the help of a candidate.
Here's a tweet thread about it:

Hello, Ottawa neighbours,
As student researchers in the Human-Centred Design program at Algonquin College, we are looking for people to participate in our survey exploring perceptions of home health hazards. If you bought a home in Canada in the past five years, we'd be really grateful for your input.
The flyer is attached for more info (including the chance to enter a draw to win a gift card). The survey closes later this week. Many thanks in advance for your support of local students!
Welp it honestly feels like 2017 was not that long ago. This really sucks for last semester students as their diplomas will be held back causing them to lose/delay potential job offers.

We still have received 0 information from the college at this time most students really feel left in the dark. I can empathize for the teachers and most students see it as the higher ups being greedy.
Figured I'd post cause I have not seen anything on this sub about it.
