Being informed of the Mormon influence on politics (both LDS and offshoots) and being able to counter balance the strong-arming the church does through lobbying, political action, letter writing, etc. Primarily focused in the Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado "Mormon Corridor", but any church influence on politics at all is fair came.

This subreddit is for sharing news, ideas, and information regarding civil, nonviolent dissent and protest against the Trump Administration. We are beyond the time for blame. Trump and his Republicans will soon control all three branches of government, and it falls upon citizens to stop him from enacting his proposals of bigotry.

The centralised nature of decision making within the UK is outdated. It would benefit most citizens if the UK had a written Federal constitution, divided into states each with a constitution of its own, with each state responsible for most its own tax and and the policies it spends those taxes on. Certain issues including foreign policy and defence would remain the responsibility of the Federal Government. The exact nature of how this should work should be open to inclusive debate.
