Aegean Sea is what I'd call a cousin to our other collaborations with Carl like Innovation or Mottainai. Entirely new mechanics, but with the same feel of having many, many unique cards and needing to figure out the cleverest way to exploit them to outmaneuver your opponents. You take on the role of one of five ancient peoples (Sparta, Athens, Crete, Ephesus, Rhodes), and aim to amass the greatest wealth of Goods at your home island, by sailing, discovering, building, and possibly a little Conflict with your enemies. 2-5 Players, 20min/player, and there's more details on the campaign page.
We released a beta at Gen Con 2019, and then for some unknowable reason, the world shut down between then and now. We're ready to release it finally! Hope you all enjoy it :)
