I'm a bit new to the world of typography and stumbled across this Helvetica remake called ''Neue Haas Grotesk''. https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/neue-haas-grotesk

I really like the subtle differences between Helvetica and this typeface. The thing is it's insanely expensive if you get it straight from Linotype (400$ just for one computer currently).

I am not quite sure how Adobe Fonts works, which is why I wanted to ask here: If I get Neue Haas Grotesk straight from Adobe, I can only use it in Adobe tools right? So no chance of me using the font for my personal portfolio website for example? I am guessing I have to get the web license for that.

If so, could I just replicate some of the details of Neue Haas by adjusting the letter spacing in Helvetica Neue?
