One of my favorite things about living here is that you can wear whatever you want, anytime, anywhere. And so many colors!

• Sequined mini dress to a taco joint or while biking? Why not?

• Anime streetwear to a Michelin star restaurant? Cool.

• Cross dressing pirate-like outfit to a poolside hang? No problem.

Literally no one cares unless you're at work or at a club with actual dress codes.

Visiting other places, they feel so buttoned up, monochrome, and uniform. Family in places like Chicago, Boston, and San Francisco always mention how they "can't" wear something in their cities. Even places like New Orleans which has hyper liberal leanings, everyone ends up looking like the same vintage-loving grandma with a dyed mullet, or train punk.

I feel like I get to have so much more fun with fashion here!
