So I am watching Jersey from the first season. I wanted to see how everything unfolds; from the jail sentence, the never ending feud (I really wanted to know who I though was right/wrong, mature/petty, and who’s truly at fault), I’m a Jennifer apologist; so I want to see how she comes into the group. Somehow I started watching the current seasons so the earlier seasons are new to me. So far; season one and two Danielle was a lunatic and I personally loved it. I truly feel like the reason why she wasn’t on season three was because it was a morality issue with bravo to continue to film a person with a clear mental illness besides the normal crazy of the average reality show personality. I know that she came back later in the series but I think there was a definite conversation of “are you taking your medication?” Season three was a little hard for me to get into but after the amazing-ness of Danielle I think I’m owed that. But this is the beginning of the world’s never ending feud. I wasn’t really excited about seeing the beginning of this dispute because I am kind of over it lol. They have both been on the show long enough and should have their own individual lives that they can be nothing but coworkers if the familial relationship isn’t working out. But the constant talking about each other is draining for me as a viewer. Like I get it you don’t like each other. Act like the other doesn’t exist, don’t keep saying “we’re family, we’re family!” I’m only season 4 so far and my assessment of the relationship between the Teresa and her brother is this: they each married partners with a lot of physical and personality similarities to one another and it caused this weird underlying competition. Melissa is Teresa, Joe is Joe. Everything one says about the other the other could say about them. From season three and four Teresa seems like an awful, unaware, mean, petty person. She blames everyone, ducks accountability. I am trying to give her some grace because she’s going through a very stressful and public situation and she clearly doesn’t have the appropriate coping mechanisms to go through this situation well. HOWEVER, as an adult with a brain and what I hope would be enough common sense because she’s raising four children she is wrong 80% of the time. Also Joe Guidice is awful, he’s a criminal (a bad one at that), a scammer, he speaks to her horribly, and acts like he doesn’t like her half the time. The only time he shows her any affection is when he wants to get her pregnant again. He has a major disregard her and it’s tough to watch. Any who I’m done with talking about Teresa. I really liked the Manzo sisters/sister-in-laws. I liked Jacqueline, I thought she was so sweet, level headed and pretty. I liked her and Chris’ relationship. I really disliked “Ashlee”, I thought she was such a bad daughter. If anyone reads this rant please let me know if Jacqueline has made an in detail comment or update about their relationship currently. Loved Caroline and her family. She was tough but caring, honest, she seemed like a good person. Yet, I heard she supported Dina’s husband in his abuse case against her, so that’s a major no. Once again if anyone reads this; what was her reasoning for doing that? Dina was one of the few people who I think are strikingly beautiful. She didn’t really add much to the show but hey. That is it for now. I’ll see how my opinions and what not change.
