TLDR: I was looking at how drones yaw, and found that they use use torque diffencial to turn, why can't we use this for road cars?

So we know drones (quadcopters) use toque diffencial to yaw, basically one side provides more thrust (rotor spins faster) and the other side slower. Can we apply the same principles on car steering? So for example when we turn, the torque difference can vary, based on the rate of change of the steering ( more steer = higher torque diff). The torque diffencial would be achieved by varying the rpm of rear 2 wheels ( for two wheel drive )? A similar principle can be applied for all wheel drive.

Just wanted to know what are some shortcomings this design system may face (assuming everything is reliable).
