Orangejello Agrinya is an up and coming basketball player in the NBA. His parents (Nigerian Royalty Erediauwa family) sent him to European and American schools where coaching could be given to Agrinya in his youth. Perhaps most notable about Agrinya is that Agrinya means “warrior” in his native Nigerian tongue, a last name which must be earned. While riding bicycles with his sisters, the children found themselves far enough from the city of Abuja to encounter hyenas. Orangejello used an arochukwu (a type of spear popular in Nigeria) to fight the hyena pack for roughly thirty minutes, killing seven hyenas until a truck happened upon the children and scared off the animals. When word of the incident spread, the people petitioned for and won the title of Agrinya for Orangejellos new surname. Agrinya now lives in West Valley City, to the Southwest of Salt Lake, Utah where he is pursuing a career in professional basketball. Agrinya is currently signed with the Utah Jazz of America’s National Basketball League (NBA). The rookies family also notably paid an undisclosed amount to the game makers of the popular “2k” series of basketball games to enhance the statistics and abilities of the young Agrinya who commonly refers to himself as “monster.” The acceptance of the payout has noticeably angered fans of the popular video game, professional basketball players of the NBA, and Agrinya alike who argue that this compromises the integrity of the game. Agrinya can be spotted around Salt Lake sporting his dyed gray Afro haircut searching out Mexican food which he is quite fond of and wearing his black leather jacket like “the Opie” a reference and homage to Harry “Opie” Winston, a fictional character from the popular FX drama Sons of Anarchy. Agrinya also enjoys meeting people to practice his English language speaking and playing pick up games with anyone he can find.
