My cat just pooped a tapeworm

I think she just pooped the whole thing out. I'm not sure though. The worm was huge and literally moving. My question is: Will it poop more tapeworms? Did she just pooped the whole thing out? Is there a chance there are more than one tapeworms inside her?

going on a weekend vacation trip anxious about leaving my 1 year old puppy

i have anxiety, my dog has anxiety going on a 3 night vacation for the first time in years

my in-laws live right next to us so they will come and check on him to let him potty and feed him and my parents are coming saturday morning and staying until sunday morning. he will have to be alone friday afternoon/evening, and sunday afternoon/evening and monday morning. like ofc he will be checked on but he is a very anxious dog, i’m just worried him not seeing us will intensify his abandonment issues

he’s not the type of dog to rip stuff up or make a mess. he just cries and gets depressed :(

i’m super anxious i don’t want him to be sad has anyone left their dog like this? how did u cope with your anxiety and lessen theirs?

Cat wont use litter box more than once

For context shes around 4 is a half Maine coon We have a 2nd cat that's only about 2 give or take who appears to be a Russian blue (both came from shelters) They get along as you'd imagine they would

So the problem is that she will not poop in her litter box this is a persistent problem and we've tried everything we can think off to resolve it We have 3 litter boxes 2 regular ones for the blue and a fancy auto cleaner for the mainecoon She will have no problems peeing in the liter box but will poop on the floor next to it instead

We've taken her to the vet and there's nothing physically wrong with her she's up-to-date on all medical shots So far we have tried different litter, different foods, re training her to use it, moving it to other areas, separating the cats, feliaway, giving her extra affection

When we first got her the auto cleaning box we found there were no problems for a month or so but the problems have resurfaced recently and there has been no obvious change around the house

Any advice would be appreciated thank you to everyone

need help for my cat

he is a obese tabby cat, i was cleaning his with a wet wipe because he had dandruff and had a lot of anxiety with water so we try to avoid that, because he is so fat, he cant clean his butt properly and i was wiping it for him so he didnt have a poopy butt, and i noticed his anus was inflamed, quivering, and squirted out brown fluid, im concerned but dont have money for vet unless a absolutely emergency or he needs it, can anyone try to help me with this? for his obesity, his sister is 9 pounds and hes around 18 and is the size of 3 cats, he poops and pees on the ground a lot as well, despite always having fresh water, clean litter, and meals/treats

MSc Dog Survey

I am currently carrying out a dissertation investigating public perception of certain dog breeds, selective breeding and awareness of breed-related health issues. im thinking to het a dog

Hello.Im thinking to get a dog.But the problem is im working 15-16hours a day.I dont want to test it on a dog my work schedule.Maybe my work schedule is not good for a dog.Who has experience with dogs.Please share with me your experience :)

Neighbors dogs left outside crying

Ok there's more to this than just the title.

Anyway, my neighbor has 2-3 dogs I'm not sure how many. Supposedly the were trying to get into breeding but kept some of the dogs, probably because there was no buyers. I didn't know about this but another neighbor told me.

Well every night there's a dog in the backyard until pretty late (like 10pm) and they can be heard crying. I don't think they put all the dogs back there but sounds like just 1 or 2.

At night time I've heard a dog that sounded like they were locked in a room just barking all night on like a 2nd or 3rd floor of a house. I didn't realize it but it must be theirs.

Anyway this is very upsetting to myself and others. One neighbor said out loud "Omg take those dogs inside" Kinda said to themself but the dog owner was outside and must've heard it.

So is there anything I can do about this? It sucks to have neighbors like this when I'm an animal lover. I just don't know if there's anyone I can call or anything I can do. Personally I just try to mind my business but another neighbor is very upset and I'm trying to find out what we can do. I don't speak to the neighbor that owns the dogs.
