Yep, you read that headline right.

I want to start making a series of posts discussing how I think the Arrowverse should be restored and, more namely, how many of its great characters should be kept in the series.

In the last few years Arrow has ended, Black Lightning has ended and now Supergirl has ended. All the main and supporting characters of those shows are now in limbo and might never return beyond the odd crossover here and there like Armaggeddon.

This is why I want to raise the discussion on why more major Arrowverse characters should become series regulars on shows like Batwoman, in this case Arsenal on Batwoman.

Here are my reasons;

1.) The ratings for Batwoman are dropping and, coupled with the recent controversies concerning Ruby Rose's allegations, means Batwoman may soon be in trouble of being cancelled. Bringing in a fan-favourite Arrowverse character like Roy could help to boost ratings and give Arrowverse fans more of a reason to want to watch Batwoman to help keep it on air.

2.) Roy Harper is one of the most popular characters from Arrow and having him return would help to keep Arrow's legacy alive.

3.) Roy would fit in nicely with the tone of the show and Team Bat, he's a grounded character with the exception of his metal arm, he's very layered in terms of his past addictions and struggles, he's someone with experience of tackling crime and its origins and he'd fit in really well with the overall tone. Team Bat too could use some more members without being too crowded.

4.) Batwoman and Superman and Lois need to become more integrated and connected to the rest of the Arrowverse to keep them both going as well as the universe's greatest characters, Batwoman and Superman and Lois feel very cut off from the other shows and don't ever actually reference them at all, so having some more major characters appear as series regulars like Arsenal would be a great idea.

What are your thoughts on this?
