A few days ago I spit-balled trying the new Master Surgeon + The Druggery. Turns out (thanks to fellow global 1801 lurker Krabybara) that it works!
They were able to sustain RF as well as max life when my flask was active, and unable when not. Sustain did not end when they reached max life, and occurred while Purity of Fire was disabled (just so regen wasn't a confound).

This build is not as helpful as an aurabot per se, but supplies regen and speed an aurabot may not, while still providing some defensive layers. Plus, I just wanted to see if it worked.
Provides to all party members, screenwide, with full uptime:
---3,615 life/second. (The Druggery + Master Surgeon + A Stupid Amount Of Flask Life Recovery on Tree)
---Frenzy, Power and Endurance charges without hitting enemies (Conduit + Replica Tulfall + Liquid Inspiration, Enduring Composure + hallowed mana flask combo, Proud of this one).
---+81% to all elemental resists, +8% Max res (83% for most party members).
