What happens if Trezor goes under?

Obviously I have my seed phrase and everything, but I was wondering about the fact that I have my crypto spread across a few different addresses within the Trezor suite. Does my seed phrase work for all those addresses?

On Trezor, I have my Pin, my Seed Phrase and my Passphrase ... but what is my private key?

I was taught that my public key is like my email address i.e. I can share it with people so that they can send me stuff. And that my public key is my password i.e. I shouldn't share it as it gives people access to my account.

But where does the private key fit in with a cold wallet like Trezor? It seems to be distinct from the 3 things I am aware of: Pin, Seed phrase and Passphrase.

Is it possible to save an address on Trezor?

e.g. My Trezor address

But on Trezor, do I have to copy and paste it across everytime I want to make a transaction?

First of all, I'd like to give you a big thank you to the Trezor Reddit community for getting me orientated on hardware wallet safety.

And now a question...

I've noticed that my Trezor Model One comes with what appears to be an attachment for a keyring. I wanted to know ... are you taking your wallet around with you on the move? Surely, this (and the stickers) are simply advertising that you have it on you. My initial framework is to simply keep it all stashed some at home securely.

Secondly, how do you feel about travelling with it? Does this beat leaving it at home? Or is it a case of as long as you know your seed/passphrase off by heart, it isn't a problem?

Finally, how do you feel about letting cleaners or other members of the public into your house while you are out?

Hello, I just got my trezor wallet recently and I while I was transfering my funds from binance.

I tried to minimize fees so I exchanged to ETC on binance and then sent it. I would expect ~0.5€ of fees from that since I sent smaller amounts before sending any meaningful amount.

Then I tried exchanging my ETC back to BTC and it showed 0€ fees(I believed that meant they were below 0.01€) and was very happy about that. But after I recieved my bitcoin there was ~5€ missing.

I just want to know why that happened. Is it the transfer fee for which they charge me? If so I feel like that should be pointed out somewhere. Any answers would be welcome

Longer seed v longer passphrase?

🤔 General crypto question

It seems like plenty of entropy can be achieved using a passphrase (not from a lists of 2^11 predefined words, arbitrary letters and numbers chosen by user).

Should I go with 12 word seed and relatively long passphrase (it could be a poem or something even, but I'm thinking more like a few words concatenated say)?

Or 18 (does TREZOR support 18 word seeds?) with medium passphrase?
