It wasn’t until I gave birth that I realized how totally isolating and lonely motherhood is, no matter how many people surround you. I honestly never thought I’d recover from the demands of early motherhood.

I just remembered how my OB didn't even see me for my 6-week pp appointment with the twins. She said because of the pandemic, she wasn't seeing postpartum patients.
I could've been this mom.

I go to quite an expensive gym. A lot of people bring their kids and they’re here all day, doing classes etc. I once asked a pal here how people afford it. They said ‘what’s membership? £100 a month? Childcare can be that, per day.’
