A company called Cisco started blocking my searches

I recently started running into my searches randomly becoming blocked by a company called Cisco. I’m on a personal device that is not managed by anything and isn’t on any VPNs and it doesn’t seem to affect anyone else’s phone in my family so it’s not a carrier service thing. I’m unsure how to fix this. Any advice on how to is greatly appreciated

How Do I Turn On Link Previews?

I'm not entirely certain if this is the right subreddit to ask this in, so please pardon me if I am mistaken. If you know of a more proper subreddit to ask this question in, please direct me to it!

I have recently gotten a new laptop, and one of the key differences I have noticed between this laptop and my former one is that it does not display a preview of a link when it is hovered over (example). It would always show me a preview regardless of browser, but on this laptop it does not show up an any browser at all, so I am assuming it has to do with a setting in the laptop itself, but I could be wrong.

This feature was always enabled on my previous laptop, so I don't know how to enable it myself. I have tried googling for answers and the only suggestions I could find were for turning off extensions and unchecking a certain setting (for chrome). I am not using any extensions or have turned on any settings that I haven't already used with my former laptop, and again link previews showed up just fine there, so I can be sure they aren't the problem. Regardless, I tried both. Neither worked.

The other option I am being suggested is to download an extension specifically for previewing links. I am reluctant to do so, considering how I did not need to download an extension before to have this feature, I doubt I would need to do so now. However, if there is no other option I am willing to download an extension, and would appreciate any recommendations!

I would appreciate any advice!

EDIT: I don't know how or why but it's showing up on Firefox again lol it is still not showing up on Chrome though, perhaps I will need to give it some time such as with Firefox?? I don't know.

Is it possible to Alter the pitch of a room tech beingz?

In Canada here, I just downloaded textnow. What do I need to do in order to begin using it to call/text AND receive calls/texts without people knowing I'm using textnow?

I don't want them to know it's not my real number. Is there anything also to set up to not indicate textnow in the voicemail message when I receive and miss calls?

I know that anyone can look it up on VoIP websites and find out it's textnow but let's assume for this question that the people I'm talking with are not going to do that. Let's just leave this discussion specifically to be within the confines of the purposes I described here.

Is Google a rich pimp who doesn’t pay its due credits to website owners?

Should Google not be sharing its Ad revenue with each domain owner whose (HTML) data it has parsed without prior written authorisation and consent for being used as material for profit and which it uses to create the very platform for serving ads?

Taking this further, this has paved the way for technology like ChatGPT which uses data it does not - and those who understand knowledge sharing - and has not technically owned all copyrights to all its training data which others steal thus encoded information from not caring where it gets its data from creating a new wave of plagiarists.

Where are the relevant data governance laws?

Should every HTML web page/digital document in existence be protected “to not be used” without prior written consent?
