We are seeking a passionate Infrastructure Engineer who will deliver new features in the Services team on a large Rails application. This person must be efficient, self-motivated, and capable of working with limited guidance.

This position is a 40 hour/week, full-time exempt position and reports to the Managing Staff Engineer. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Daily Kos is hiring a full-time Account Manager to work collaboratively with an Account Executive on the sales team to support and drive the revenue business. In this role, you will be responsible for working with political organizations, nonprofits, and advocacy groups to meet their advertising and organizing objectives and effectively reach their target audiences. In addition, you will be responsible for working in tandem with an Account Executive in order to manage and own the client relationship post-sale.
Working closely with an Account Executive partner, the Account Manager will fulfill sold advertising and lead generation deals by executing paid campaigns, growing lists, ad trafficking, and collecting creative materials for campaigns. The AM will be the central point of contact for all customer service management including answering client questions and engaging on active paid campaigns. This role will focus on managing paid digital campaigns, and also upselling products or add-on services that make sense based on the client’s objectives. This role requires strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and excellent written and oral communication skills. In addition, the AM should be motivated to meet sales quotas and larger organizational revenue goals, while keeping clients happy and well tended to.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have a professional business mindset and the ability to operate in a fast-paced yet collaborative and team-oriented environment. Our offices are in Oakland, CA, and Washington, D.C.; however, we are open to fully remote applicants.
