I know he's been a mess for a long time, but everything "Kid" Rock has said since like 2016 has just made it even more clear that he's either an earnest bigot or a lying grifter. I chuckled to myself thinking that this latest outrage (if you aren't familiar, he just shot up a few cases of Bud Light on video because they have a trans spokeswoman, Dylan Mulvaney) might end up being a good thing if even just a few culture warriors decide to be so stubborn they'd rather get sober than drink a "woke" beer.

Then I looked up what happened between him and Pam that led to their split. I thought it might have been alcohol, but it was actually even dumber. She brought him to the Borat premiere, excited for him to see her big cameo-- and he hated the movie so much that he wanted a divorce (per Sacha Baron Cohen's recollection). It's not exactly surprising that someone who gets so emotional they need to shoot beer is also a humorless grump, but it just makes me even more glad for her that she's not having to deal with his current nonsense. Love that for her!
