Saturday afternoon dose of 1968
Status Quo performs Pictures of Matchstick Men on TOTP. People must've cut their own hair in 1968. Don't you think? I'm mesmerized.

Give up the funk
Here's a great live version of Give Up the Funk by Parliament Funkadelic from 1976. Below is their 1967 hit (I Wanna) Testify from when they were The Parliaments. I may as well throw in Flash Light.

The Rolling Stones from 1964
Tremendous and awkward footage of early Rolling Stones on The Mike Douglas Show from '64. They'd only been together for 18 months.

American Graffiti
I haven't seen this great 1973 movie in eons. Drag racing. In the opening scene, the "nerd" Toad comes flying in on his scooter. Crashing his scooter was unintentional but was so in tune with his character, they had to leave it in. A happy accident at its finest. It takes place in 1962.
