This is not the fall update but it will set us up with continuous access until then.
Everyone, and I mean everyone, should be getting Novavax as a booster because we're learning a lot more about Matrix-M, how it is made with saponins and how they boost our innate immune system.

It could very well fix the immunodysfunction that were seeing in Long COVID not only because of its immune boosting on paper but also anecdotal reports from Twitter.
Even the H5N1 vaccine with Matrix-M has really great data supporting it...

Hopefully, now that the US government has announced they are considering allowing folks to get a second bivalent booster, I'm hoping that conversation will include allowing greater Novavax access.
And, don't let people tell you it doesn't work against XBB, it does... the same chart, which is not based on a single study but a collection of different data, that shows Novavax having a lowered efficacy against XBB showed that ALL the vaccines had a lower response... but the positive effect of Matrix-M is not measured via the serum tests that we've been using to demonstrate vaccine efficacy, though the sterilizing effect is probably off the table until we see that fall update.
So, if we are to compare the Bivalent against Novavax... The adjuvant makes Novavax the clear winner.
And getting it now will prime the Matrix-M response for that update where sterilizing immunity might get back on the table... Big if but they've managed it before.
