In 2016, Jokic said: " didn’t follow that much NBA, because in Serbia, the games are on at 3 and 4 a.m. When YouTube came out when I was like 15, I watched Magic because of his passing, and Hakeem because of his post moves, and Jordan because he is Jordan."

Jokic is such a unique, brilliant basketball talent partly because you can see multiple all-time greats have influenced his game. I definitely see some aspects of Bird's and Dirk's games as well in Jokic's play. And yeah, it's pretty evident that the advent of Youtube and social media has helped promoted basketball and made it more accessible for those overseas.
