tbh i think mob would have been able to see ghosts well before forming a sense of what scary and whats not, but what if it was late enough for him to be terrified but now hes numb to all sort of them… just a thought

of course, you’ve been looking at it for years, even tho its been slowly changing each passing day, yet you can’t tell the difference.
it’s hardly the same face. it is absolutely not the same face. you don’t rememeber this but it feels so familiar.
how long have you been here? how long have you been carrying it around?
sure, it copies your every move but you don’t quite get the feeling that you’re controlling this reflection.
have you always looked like that? can you put a name to this thing? you know when you see this face its a reflection of this body… but it doesn’t feel yours.
not even this body feels yours. you can control it. but its not yours. you don’t remember ever belonging here.
from far away? is that where youre controlling this thing from? this thing, is you. your hands are shaking. they’re numb. you touch your face but it doesn’t feel right. its also numb. but also really sensitive. you scratch it and the pain is so distant yet so raw. you can’t stare too long into the eyes in the mirror. they look dark. empty. barely any light is reflected. they are staring back so intensely…
would you call this your name? would you give your name to whatever it is in the mirror? would you give your name to this body? would you give your name.. to you? do you have a name?
