So today they dropped an announcement and countdown to the next collab, which is literally a few days away, that's two collabs since the game released a couple months ago already.

This time around, it couldn't be worse. Let's recap, Monster Hunter event banner was pay only but had pity, super expensive and not much rewards, but the Akuma banner dropped and it was equally as bad, no pity at all, but they gave out better rewards than the MH collab (both limited units).

This time around, it's a combination of both, they're using the same format as the Akuma event, no pity, no premium currency to summon, but giving out a few tickets in the event itself (again, no pity ceiling).

Many players have confirmed spending over $200 for tickets for the Akuma banner without a single copy (keep in mind, you need 14 for a usable unit, otherwise the base regular units will outperform any limited unit at SSS), a content creator has confirmed that you needed around $3k USD to max Monster Hunter Ken, and a guild mate has claimed that he spent way over $1k for 14 copies of Akuma. Disclaimer: 14 copies is not enough to max a unit, for that you need an additional 10.

What does this mean for the DMC collab? Well, what else other than a shitshow once again? The revenue for April dropped by 3mil compared to March but that still says that whales have contributed over 5mil in revenue, keep in mind these same whales are also the ones complaining that it's too expensive.

All in all never ending shitshow, every single unit with the exception of one regular unit so far has been locked behind bullshit monetization, every single one of them needed 14 copies or straight up money to use, and almost every single one of them has been changed from the original version (CN) to make them unattainable/unusable for 99% of the playerbase.
