I have been modding for my best friend on Twitch. She is still small but consistently gets 10-15 viewers each stream. We have a good community starting with regulars popping in each stream. I have been so excited for her and have been making clips and uploading them onto TikTok for her (editing and captions included). I watch her streams in full when she is live. It's been fun to hang out with my long-distance friend this way on a regular basis.

The other day she kept sarcastically saying "mod of the year" whenever I wasn't responding or when I would eventually say "sorry I am half-listening since I'm playing a TOTK rn" she'd get a bit mean if I wouldn't do a command or fix something in stream for her. She has two other mods who don't ever really show up consistently, it really feels like I'm her main mod and I feel I do a lot for her.

When someone came in and made an inappropriate comment towards her (they ""claimed"" it was a misspelling) I deleted the comment and let the person know to follow the rules. She said I didn't have to do that and it was just a mistake, but then backed-up to say "if it was on purpose, then yes you did the right thing" IN STREAM. It created some conflict of the person not taking me seriously the rest o the stream. Based on what we agreed on in the past,, I thought I was following what she wanted but then she kind of threw me under the bus there... I want to also add that this person has been banned from the Discord after we found out they were underage, and she won't remove this person from Twitch chat.

Am I overreacting? I'm thinking of just purposely missing out on her next stream and following that, if she does it again, then to bring it up to her.

Has anyone else experienced ungrateful streamers towards mods?

Hey streamers!👋

TL/DR: we're just a couple of gamers and coders who've come up with a tool that might make life a bit easier for streamers. We're at the start of our journey and we'd love your input to make DailyClips.io even better. So check it out and let us know what you think!

So my friend and I, are gamers and coders, we have been working on a project. We've noticed how hard everyone works to create awesome gaming content, and yet, so much of it gets lost in the vast gaming universe.

We wanted to change that so we built DailyClips.io: It's a website that helps repurpose your twitch clips and vods, making it super easy to edit them into vertical content and share to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels. Our goal is to give creators more time to do the fun part - creating epic gaming experiences, rather than worrying about how to gain more visibility.

We're pretty excited about it. But we're still early in the process, just starting our beta phase, and there's plenty of room for growth. So far, we've poured our energy into:

  • Speeding up the editing process: This is NOT like your average video editor. We've streamlined it big time and its built specifically for going from horizontal to mobile format.

  • Highly customizable templates: Unlike other tools out there, we've enabled complete customization - because we know everyone's style and stream layout is unique.

  • Automating trends and best practices: Think stuff like Alex Hormozi style captions and automated calls to action simplified and ready to use.

  • Making your clips organized: Easier to find, easier to create data-driven content.

We're building this for you, the streamer community, and we'd love to get your thoughts... What works for you? What could be better? We genuinely appreciate any feedback!

May the algorithms bless you!
