This sub is intended for art of real world military forces both past and present fighting something non-human. Do you have Napoleonic soldiers fighting werewolves? Awesome! Roman legions standing against the undead? Post it here! American special forces taking on kaijus? Don't hold out on us. Space marines fighting Tyranid horrors? We don't do that here. The soldiers posted must reflect current or past reality. Their opponents can be anything imaginable but the troops fighting them must be real

This is a community that discusses militarism and warfare. Since the US is the world's leader in wars, military spending and militarism, we specifically focus on American policies and actions that promote what the Pentagon calls the "long war" -- the unending Global War on Terror (GWOT). We include articles that show the politics behind the Endless War, the spending involved and the toll in human suffering and lives.

This is damning evidence that these are aircraft flares, dropped during a military training exercise.

https://twitter.com/blackvaultcom/status/1661056301408096256?t=KvR1sEAGfDQK6Fltnbdi6w&s=19

Corbell and Knapp would have known this. Either they are the face of disinformation and coverup, or they are dumb as a sack of bricks, or they are grifters. The answer isn't good for UFOlogy.

Edit: Want to be clear that I'm asking the question of Corbell and Knapp's competency and whether or not they present things like this in good faith or not. To me this is proof that they either didn't research this properly or have intentionally omitted information (about the military exercise on the same night) so as to push their own narrative. For me, this has destroyed both their reputations once and for all.

Edit 2: A mod stickied a comment because the wording of my thread title could be seen as trying to be "clickbait" by me writing that "they knew" they were flares. That's my bad that I worded that poorly, but you aren't allowed to edit post titles. I could have written that they "should have known", but my gut feeling is that after two years looking into this case, and then failing to mention the military exercise means that they did know and chose to omit that information as it debunks their claim. My opinion.
