hello! ^^ i think i saw on twitter that you would be opening pre-orders for the cotton twill jackets, and that the designs included would include scarlet garden. i was wondering if this would still be the case, and also when would the pre-orders be opening tentatively?

also, just wanted to say i absolutely ADORE your designs. i recently bought two of your mini skirts and absolutely love them!

yep, thats correct! not sure when preorders will be open just yet - i want to have samples made first, and then get some on-model photos beforehand! so maybe sometimes in the summer!

I adore the velvet jackets! but velvet makes my skin crawl :( any chance on there being other materials for those? (despite being semi retired?)

ill have cotton twill jackets but only the scarlet garden design will be returning!

generally which fabric frays/gets all fuzzy more quickly - polyester or cotton? I have sensory processing disorder and I can’t stand most textures that resemble cottonballs or torn kleenex. just the thought of them makes me shudder lol

in my experience its usually polyester that pills like that, but i guess it really depends on the individual fabric!

Anonymous asked:

Have you considered selling longsleeve button-ups?

i probably wont any time soon! i dont have the space to essentially double the button down stock, and also cant really accommodate having the same item with a small detail changed.

Anonymous asked:

why is wearing heavy jackets a red flag??

it means they may not have a climate controlled environment in the winter!

also if anyone is curious about enamel pin red flags: videos showing workers sanding/working in general without gloves or protective equipment is a big one.

Hey! I'm trying really hard to avoid supporting the use of sweatshops when I buy new clothing. Would you mind sharing info on how/where your clothing is made?

heyo! my apparel is made in china, in factories that are audited for safety and verified through alibaba. unfortunately i havent been able to visit my factories and do in person tours just yet (im one person with joint pain probs and the 24 hours trip to china might kill me lol) but ive seen photos and videos of the workspace!

ive also been doing this long enough to spot certain red flags and we're all clear on those. (if anyone is curious, potential red flags for manus are: answering messages in the dead of night, being really wpushy on making sales, working while sick, not allowing factory workers to advocate for themselves and refuse certain work/not upcharge for certain work, wearing heavy winter jackets in photos, just to name a few.)

Howdy! do you have a date when the magnolia button ups will be available? I'm very excited to get one and I want make sure to check before they sell out :)

not totally sure yet!! im considering releasing a capsule collection around summertime with all of the magnolia stuff (button down, screenprinted shirt, jacket, skirt, joggers) but i havent made a concrete decision yet. ill have more news about it soon tho!

maybe you're already aware of this but taliesin jaffe was wearing your cicada shirt in an episode of critical role some weeks ago!! my sister showed me a screenshot (cos i have one of your shirts) and i thought it was so cool to spot your clothing in the wild like that!

every time you post a new design it fills my little goblin heart with desire ahhhhh

😌 i am just a goblin, catering to other goblins,

i put this on the tags of a post but i realized, i could just ask. Do you think you'd ever make any of your patterns as tunics? I love your stuff and have three of your tshirts. I don't think I've seen anyone selling nicely patterned tunics like, anywhere, and I think some of yours would make really beautiful ones.

maybe someday!! i do kind of live tunics, but it might be a bit of a niche thing so who knows!!
