Okay here is another fanfic for you guys. I really wonder how far Bendy and Henry’s mental bond can go; like distance wise. While Henry is at work, can Bendy sense what Henry is thinking? Or if some sort of attack happened, Bendy could feel it.

Like all, this is based on @shinyzango 2D Bendy AU.

So here we go!

Bendy watched Henry place some coffee in his mug, having his packed lunch on the counter. He had to go to work today, which he felt like the day would be boring without him around.

“Don’t worry, bud…I’ll be back before you know it.” Henry smiled, kneeling down and ruffled the top of Bendy’s head. But he could see a small pout on his face. “What is it, bud?”

…I feel like something bad is gonna happen….but I don’t know what….” Bendy then sighed deeply before looking up at Henry, trying to force a smile. “…but I’m probably over thinkin’ it…” Bendy said.

Henry smiled a bit before pulling the toon into a hug when he saw the demon moving towards him. “Don’t worry about it bud. I do that sometimes as well…” He said, giving him a squeeze before pulling away.

He grabs the packed lunch, the mug filled with coffee and grabbed his bag.

He grabs his keys, starting to open the front door. “I’ll see you in a few hours, bud–”

He was cut off when he felt a gentle nudge from behind. He looks around to see the familiar one eyed monster bendy, whining at him. Henry smiled a bit, sighing softly and pets the top of his head. “Bud…don’t worry…nothing is gonna happen, okay? And if it does, I will call you, okay?”

Bendy just only whined and nuzzled his cheek against Henry’s shoulder. ….be careful, Henry….” Bendy said through their mental bond.

When Henry heard that, he sighed softly. He remember what day it was that he totally spaced it out. Today fell the day Henry went to the hospital when a drunk driver hit him, giving the poor toon a heart attack when he didn’t went home and he learned the hard way of what happened to him.

“…oh, bud…are you remembering that day?” Henry asked, gently setting his things down on a counter table.

Bendy could only nod in response, whining sadly.

Henry placed his hands on Bendy’s head, making him look at him. “Bud…I’m sorry of what you had to go through…but it’s not gonna happen this time…you trust me, right bud?” Henry asked, smiling sadly at his friend.

Bendy looks at him, still unsure. But…he knew that Henry was right. If something did happen, he would be able to call him or Bendy would be able to sense it through their bond.

So he nods, making a small grunting noise. Henry smiled a bit more. “Now come on, where’s the smile that I see everyday?” He asked. Bendy blinks, looking at him.

When he felt a calming thought coming from Henry’s side of their bond, it made Bendy smile. “There’s the smile I know.” Henry smiled before resting his forehead against Bendy’s. The toon lets out a whine, but he was smiling again.

Henry soon pulled away and gathered his stuff again. “See you in a few hours, bud.” Henry smiled, patting his head one more time before he was out of the door.

Bendy stood by the door a few more minutes before he turned back to his normal form, sighing softly. He really hope that nothing bad would happen to Henry–

He gasped when he suddenly felt more calming thoughts going through his head. ‘Henry…’ Bendy thought, then smiled sadly. He closed his eyes and send positive thoughts back to Henry.

Henry was typing a few things on the computer, sighing softly. He kept adding the numbers up like how he does every day at the office.

“Hey, Henry?” A man walked up to him, leaning against the wall. He had short brown hair with green eyes. He was one of the higher workers at the company, but Henry didn’t seem to mind nor did he care.

“Yeah, Jeremy?” Henry asked, pausing from his work. “Hey, the printer is acting up. I can’t get anything to print. I know ya use to be in one of those animation studios, right? Think you can take a look at it?”

“We didn’t have printers at the studio I use to work at, but…I’ll look at it.” He sighed, standing up from his seat and followed the man to the printer.

By the time they walked over, Henry could hear the printer beeping, telling that there’s something wrong with it. “Ink refuses to be on the page, but all of the ink cartridges are full, but I don’t know…” Jeremy sighed.

Henry knelt down and opens the side of the printer, trying to see if anything was jammed on the inside of the printer. “…well, I don’t see anything jammed inside….could be a block-up.” Henry sighed, closing the door to it.

Jeremy groans a bit before giving the printer a good kick on it’s side.

Just as he did that, the printer acted up even more, making Henry and Jeremy back up. The printer got louder and louder before the side starts to spray out ink on the wall and floor.

“Shit! Get the maintenance up here!” Jeremy yelled out.

But Henry froze on the spot, his eyes wide and his entire body frozen on the spot. The ink was bubbling, sending images flashing in front of his eyes.

Searchers were surrounding Henry, having an ax in one hand while holding the paper that held the toon in the other hand. He grunts as he slashed at one of them, making them turn into a puddle of ink.

But more and more ink searchers would show up.

“Henry! There’s too many of them!” Bendy cried out, looking up at Henry. He was getting weaker from exhaustion.

A hissing sound could be heard, making both Henry and Bendy still at the very sight.

Lanky Bendy appeared in front of them, making a loud hissing sound, a sinister grin on it’s face. That’s when it pointed at Henry, making the searchers start to go forth towards them.

Henry could only freeze on the spot, Bendy managing to get out of Henry’s grip and into an ink puddle, making him turn into his monster form, growling loudly while keeping Henry underneath him.

The voices were distance from Henry, breathing fast and raspy breaths, a few employees trying to get him back to reality.

“Henry! Can you hear me!? Henry!”

“Is he okay!?”

“I think he’s having a panic attack!”

Henry’s mind was racing, thoughts of fear and panic going through his head, unaware of what has happening or what he was doing.

………..

………..

Bendy stilled when he suddenly felt an emotion from the back of his head, knowing that it was not his when he was making himself lunch.

Fear and Panic.

He didn’t know why he was feeling this now–

He stilled, suddenly dropping the peanut butter covered knife. “Henry…” Bendy whispered. He drops down from the chair he was standing on just to make a sandwich. He grabs the spare key that Henry gave him in case he ever wanted to go outside to play with the kids.

He locks the door before he starts to jolt down the street, gasping. Henry was in trouble! He knew that something bad was gonna happen!

I’m coming, Henry! I’m on my way to you!” Bendy said, kept running down the street.

He never been to Henry’s work before, but he was not going to let that stop him, using the mental bond they have as a map to figure out where Henry works at. Sure, he had to go through busy streets, ignoring people gasping or screaming at him as he got to town.

But he had to find Henry.

He could feel the panic getting stronger and stronger as Bendy kept running through town, knowing that he was getting closer and closer to Henry.

Where is Henry’s building at?” Bendy was gasping, nearly out of energy as he rest his hands on his knees, trying to catch his breath. He kept trying to think through their mental bond to see if any of the buildings were familiar.

There!

He saw a large building that seemed to be a bit taller than the others, but he knew that it was the building that Henry worked in.

Bendy smiled as he ran towards the building, going through the double doors and ran down the hallway to a service desk, where a lady was busy on the computer. Bendy grunts as he tries to reach up the desk to hit the bell to get her attention…

…but he was a tad bit short.

So with a final jump, he manages to ring the bell, but then held onto the desk as the lady looked over at him, but had a shocked look.

Excuse me, miss. I’m looking for Henry Ross. Can you tell me which floor he works on, please?” He asked, a smile on his face, being polite even though his mind was racing with ‘GettoHenrygettoHenrygettoHenry’ repeatedly.

“He’s…on the fifth floor.” She said, still shocked to see what…whatever Bendy was. But Bendy smiled though and shook the lady’s hand. “Thank you, ma’am.”

Bendy hopped down from the desk and ran to the elevators, but then stopped to see the sign on the elevators.

“Out of Order”

SON OF A $&@%#!” A air horn muted out at Bendy’s last word, making Bendy cover his mouth in shock.

Oopsie….

….he said a bad word, but it was muted out with him being a toon.

…Henry would put soap in my mouth if he heard me said that around him…thank mercy he isn’t–Focus, Bendy! You need to get to Henry!” Bendy shook his head, getting back on track.

He saw the stairway door and snapped his fingers, smirking before opening them up before he could see how many stairs he had to climb. “…why…out of all things, it had ta be stairs…” Bendy groaned before starting to race his way up to the stairs.

When he got to the third floor, he was starting to grow tired of going up the stairway, leaning against the wall for support. He wipes the ink away from his forehead, trying to catch his breath.

He was nearly there, the panic in the back of his head getting stronger and stronger as he journeys up.

…I’m…coming, Henry…just…just hold on…” Bendy gasped before he kept journeying up the stairway. After what feels like hours to him, he finally got to the fifth floor.

Bendy rest his hands on his knees, gasping as he kept trying to catch his breath, but he could hear the beeping from a machine of some sort, people yelling out a certain name, making Bendy look up.

He could see Henry covering his ears, clenching his eyes shut, shaking like a leaf as the printer finished spraying out ink on the ground and wall. He could see Mrs. Caster trying to get him to calm down, but Bendy knew it wouldn’t be enough, people backing away from Henry to give him space.

Bendy took a deep breath before running towards them, even when his legs feel like jelly about know. “Mrs…Mrs Caster…” Bendy gasped.

She looks up, surprised to see Bendy, but it ended up having a few gasps or shrieks from the other co-workers, never seeing Bendy before.

“Bendy, what are you doing here–”

Mrs. Caster. I can calm Henry down. Just give me space and I can help him…please…” Bendy pleaded, looking up at her with a sad look. He can do it, he knows he can. Mrs. Caster could see the look Bendy was giving him and she sighs deeply in defeat.

“…Everyone clear the area now. Good luck, little guy…” She whispered at the last part, people now clearing away the area, away from Henry. Bendy nods at Mrs. Caster before running up towards Henry.

Henry? It’s me, Bendy! I’m here now.” Bendy said, managing to grab Henry’s hands and gently pulled them away from his ears. Henry was still gasping, having a far distance look on his face, his skin pale as a sheet.

Henry, you need to calm down. Try to take deep breaths.” Bendy coaxed at him gently, squeezing his hands softly to see if he got any reaction from his friend, but he found none. He kept shaking, staring at the ink puddle on the floor.

He needs to get out of here–

Henry suddenly went still when he suddenly felt a pressure against his forehead, calming thoughts starting to go through the back of his mind. What was happening?

Henry, it’s okay….we’re not in the Studio anymore. We have a life together; you and me, remember? You don’t have to be scared anymore…” A voice said through his head. That voice…it seemed…so familiar.

I know that you’re scared and thinking of the bad things, but the bad things are behind us now…we have the future to think about…but I need you to come back to the present, Henry…I need you….please, come back…”

Henry’s heart started to beat a bit slower and slower, his breathing starting to calm down as well. The color of his skin starting to return as well, the images of the Studio starting to fade away.

When he opened his eyes, he could see a familiar toon looking up at him, a sad look on his face. “Henry?” Bendy asked softly, a hand on his cheek.

Henry didn’t say anything for the longest time before pulling the toon into a tight hug. Bendy did not hesitate to hug him back tightly, his arms wrapped around his neck. “….thank you, bud…”

Bendy’s only response was tightening his grip on him.

…………………….

……………………..

Henry was sent home early that day, now only staring at the window. A mug of tea was in his hand, having a far distance look on his face.

How did that suddenly happen? He never had an attack in the longest time until now. So out of all of the things, why did that happen to him now? He took a deep breath and yet shaky breath before pulling away from the window and wall, setting his mug in the sink.

Something inside of Henry suddenly made his wall broke down.

He stood there in the kitchen, having a hand over his eyes as he took a shaky breath. His shoulders was silently shaking, soft plops being heard on the ground of the tile floor.

He silently sniffed, just standing there for a moment, not realizing a figure behind him.

Bendy was in his monster form, slowly walking up to Henry from behind. Bendy seemed hesitant, but he slowly got Henry to turn around and slowly wrapped his arms around his human friend.

…it’s okay, Henry…..it’s okay…” Bendy said through their mental bond, slowly starting to rub his back. Henry just shook his head.

“…it’s not okay….” Henry sniffed

But he did not pull away from Bendy’s hug nor did he object to the toon’s comforting gestures. Bendy sighs, looking down at Henry, a sad look on his face.

…no…..but it is what it is….” Bendy softly rest his cheek on the top of his head, letting Henry let his emotions out until he felt better. He never stopped his back rubs, knowing that it was helping Henry let loose on what he was feeling and what was happening.

It was a silent moment for the two, Bendy just hugging his human friend until he felt Henry pull away a bit, taking a deep breath to calm himself down. He looks up at Bendy, who gave him a sad smile.

This made Henry smiled back a bit before resting his forehead against Bendy’s when the demon lowered his head a bit. “…thank you….”

For you, Henry? Anything.” Bendy responded, smiling a bit more.

They journey their way to the living room, Bendy now shrunken down to his smaller form as Henry sat down in the recliner, making the foot rest go up. This made Bendy grab a pillow and blanket for him.

Henry smiled and grabs the toon, picking him up and lets him rest against him. Bendy smiled, covering them up with the blanket and placed the pillow. Bendy smiled and closed his eyes.

“…I really can’t thank you enough, bud….you managed to run all the way to the building I worked at and helped me calm down.” Bendy glanced up at Henry, blinking.

“That’s why I love you, bud.” Henry smiled down at him. This made Bendy smile more, glad that he was able to help Henry out after so many times that Henry helped him. Bendy wrapped his arms around Henry’s shoulders the best he could.

…I love you too, Henry…I’m glad that I was able to help you…”

Henry smiled before he closed his eyes, sighing deeply until sleep got to them both, sleeping until their next day and adventure would come.

Well, there ya go guys. I was unsure of how this would go but I was glad that I was able to get this all sorted out.
