Hey MacOS subreddit! I recently got my hands on the new M2 MacBook Pro, and I'm loving how the menu bar stays around the notch in fullscreen mode. However, I'm encountering a small inconvenience when it comes to watching movies and playing remotely on my PlayStation from my Mac during my leisure time. I'm hoping to find a solution or some advice on how to enhance my fullscreen experience without distractions from the menu bar.

Currently, I find myself toggling the "automatically hide the menu bar" option quite frequently between "never" and "full screen only" modes, depending on what I'm doing. This constant switching has become tiresome, and I'm looking for a more convenient way to manage this.

I'm wondering if any of you have come across a third-party solution that addresses this issue specifically or if you have any advice on setting up an automation via Shortcuts or the Automator tool. It would be great to have some sort of exception for my browser and PlayStation remote app, or any other content displaying applications, so that the menu bar doesn't distract from the content.
