Glad to have a couple of weeks break before book 12 is released. I don’t dislike Sara in general and I have enjoyed the cases in the WT series but damn, does she need to be the center of all of them?? I especially didn’t care for The Last Widow, cliched kidnapping plot? No thanks.
This may be controversial but I don’t care for her and Will as a couple anymore. They’re exhausting. They’re both stubborn and non-communicative. What do they even have in common? What do they talk about? KS hasn’t done well in developing them as a couple. They fight, ignore each other, obsess over each other, have angry sex, treat each other like children, have five minutes of happy, then start the cycle all over again. I’m glad Sara helped Will cut Angie out (hopefully for good) but I wish they’d just stayed friends at this point.
There’s a place for Sara in the books as just the ME without her stealing the show. Not even sure why this series is considered the Will Trent series at this point.
Maybe I’m just burnt out having read the GC series and then immediately dove into the WT series. But what I would give for one book that she takes a back seat in, like earlier in the series.
Question
I just finished GC and about to start WT. I didn’t realize they overlap (I’d heard of WT but luckily started with GC first). I’m just wondering if at some point the ending of GC book 6 will be resolved?? I don’t want any spoilers buuut I’m kind of torn up about the ending of GC book 6 and don’t know what to feel 😂😭
