Blogger / Blogspot Install Guide

1. Sign up for an account at Statcounter to get your code.
   These instructions will be repeated after you've created an account and added your first project.

2. Copy the StatCounter code.
3. Login to your blogger account (opens in new window).
4. Click Layout in left menu
   
5. Click the "Add a Gadget" link where you want to add the code (at the bottom is best)
   
6. Scroll down and click the plus next to "HTML/JavaScript" in the popup window
   
7. Enter 'StatCounter' in the title box.
   
8. Paste the code in the content box.
9. Click 'save'.

10. Click save icon on bottom right
    
    
    At this point statcounter is now on the blog. The directions below are to ensure mobile devices are tracked too. This is optional
    
11. Click Theme in the left menu.
    
12. Click the drop down arrow next to customize button
    
13. Click edit html in the drop down menu
    
14. Search for 'StatCounter' in the code
    
15. Add mobile='yes' before 'StatCounter'.
    
16. Click save icon on upper right. After that click back arrow on upper left next to blogger icon.
    
17. Click the down down arrow again but this time pick mobile settings in pop up menu
    
18. Click the drop down arrow to the right of where it says "Chose mobile theme"
    
19. Scroll to the bottom and pick 'Custom' from the list then click save.
