Woman is using my number by hghost in RBI

[–]liltrixxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've cancelled so many online orders for someone in Georgia with the same name as mine.

Eventually I texted them with a number on one of the orders to tell them they should probably learn their email address.

Godspeed.

Took 50mg sumatriptan for the first time today, normal side effects? by anetanetanet in migraine

[–]liltrixxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pressure in jaw, neck, chest - extremely common side effect with triptans. I can't say I ever got used to it but it's better than the migraine.

This was the 3 meat plate (Ekolu - 3 Choice) from Mo' Bettahs.

x2 kalua pig - and not pictured - shrimp tempura. And I mean, even for double pork that is a HUGE serving.

Spouse has decided perfectionism is more important than his relationship with our daughter by alllllll_the_tea in breakingmom

This is a great point. I would only expect this kind of authoritative inflexibility if I joined the military. In the real world, another adult would have told him to go fuck himself.

Stonewalling a 7 year old is abusive and just ridiculous. If he won't listen to you, do you go to a couples therapist or do you think he might consider it? Maybe he needs a third party mediator to even hear anything.

Unfortunately, it's also possible he won't listen to any reason as he seems very defensive and quite ignorant about child development. Peer acceptance starts to be much more important at this age and threatening that her peers will abandon her is completely abhorrent manipulative behavior. Emotional support and security are everything to a child and he's acting incredibly narcissistic by putting his own feelings above hers.

If he can't put his feelings aside in this realm to connect in a loving and supportive way, he needs to find something he's less judgemental about to connect with her on and back off on the sport.

I am genuinely sorry you and your child are dealing with this. It's a very hard situation when you can't provide consistency through a united front because one partner is acting like a toddler.

He's a shockingly good boy. He just lurks intensely until someone takes pity. (The other cats are sneaky snatchers though)

This might be the cutest thing I've ever seen. I think it's as soothing for me as it is for the cat.

I can access r/all on the official app on Android. It's just at the absolute bottom of the upper-left hamburger menu options.

This in black.

Very small but big enough for essentials like cards/cash/keys/phone/etc. I love it.

MY MOTHER DIED by Mayortomatillo in breakingmom

[–]liltrixxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so sorry that you've suddenly lost your mother this way and hope that you have people near you to lean on as you go through this.

When I was a child, I was very close to my grandmother who died suddenly. The information was shared with me in a way that was so matter of fact that I didn't really believe it was true for a long time, even after attending her funeral.

So my only advice there is to be as warm and empathetic as you can be. Acknowledge the loss and grief for yourself and them and be accepting and open to whatever reaction they have. There is no right or perfect way to handle tragedy and loss but over the next few weeks and months, give them opportunities and space to talk about her and process what has happened - and give yourself that space as well.

Bromos, I am panicking 😭 by Bougrrl in breakingmom

It's totally going to be ok.

I once left my wedding and engagement rings in a hotel hundreds of miles away. Whoops. And you know what? They found them and they mailed them back without issue.

But yes, it won't feel great until it's back in your home!

BroMos who have moved states (about 850miles)- cost by LunaFalls in breakingmom

[–]liltrixxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moved 2000 miles ~ 9 years ago. Used a POD and packed as little as possible. Aka no beds, no couch, etc. Used what we saved on moving costs to replace those new. We drove our vehicle and had pets come via special pet transport service.

I'd estimate with pets, pod, and our travel expenses - probably around 6k.
