Seems normal enough. Can take up to 2 months sometimes to get the contracts signed. There is alot of paper work being done in the background and I mean alot.

Just finished up the whole buying a house process 2 weeks ago.

I'm my case it took about 6-7 weeks to get to the contract signing stage. Then it took another 3 and a half months to get the owners of the house I was buying to sign it and a closing date. (Bare in mind it only took them that long as they were still looking for a house themselves to move into. It can go alot faster than that if they already have a place lined up to move to or if you buy a new build)

So Basically don't worry there is nothing out of the ordinary with it taking a few weeks.
