We practice alone, or in groups. We practice witchcraft.

"Philosophy of religion is the philosophical study of the meaning and nature of religion. It includes the analyses of religious concepts, beliefs, terms, arguments, and practices of religious adherents. The scope of much of the work done in philosophy of religion has been limited to the various theistic religions. More recent work often involves a broader, more global approach, taking into consideration both theistic and non-theistic religious traditions." From: https://www.iep.utm.edu/religion/

Salam alaykum everyone I'd like to give a story on how I came back to Islam.

When I was 18 years old I left Islam to search for truth, I ended up practicing every single religion to find truth. Zoroastrianism, Christianity, Judaism, Western Paganism, Buddhism, and Hinduism.

After practicing all the religions I came to the conclusion that I was just spiritual, that God can't be limited to a name, a ritual or a scripture. I would meditate at my local park and go on walks to continue searching for truth.

However something happened, I reconnected with one of my old Muslim friends and I told them about my spiritual beliefs and how spirituality lasts longer than religion. I told them God can't be limited to a religion and the only true way to connect with God is to connect with nature and the body. I said there were no prophets and there were no books there is just Allah and you.

After I told them this they told me that I seemed unhappy with my life. Even they could see that my fitra knew that this wasn't the right way.

So to continue my search for truth I began reading the Quran in english for the first time in my life. Initially I believed I could be a Muslim with my altar that had idols on it, but I read a story about the people of Abraham Alaysalam that the people made two offerings, one to Allah and another to their associate Gods.

As I read the Quran more I began to meditate on the Quran and reflected on it's verses. Every verse about disbelievers hit my soul because I knew I was one of them. I began to realize that religion in no way limited my spirituality and in fact the things I said sounded good but were impractical in practice.

Nature and the body can't be the scripture because it's unreliable and can be misinterpreted more times than scripture can be misinterpreted. It's also not absolute as one person who studies nature can takeaway different morals than the other person who studies nature.

However with the Quran it's absolute as it is clear on what is good and clear on what is evil. I began to realize my spirituality needed a divine vehicle to properly operate or else it's like a child that doesn't grow up.

See I was half right that spirituality on it's own has endless potential. However so does a child, and when a child grows up they have to get a profession or identity in this world so they can be a functioning member of society. If you just remain in endless potential then you don't really progress in life and as a matter of fact you might regress as a person. I thought my spirituality on it's own gave me endless potential and I was right, but I soon came to realize that endless potential is dangerous because it also contains the potential to accept evil things as lawful.

So after a few weeks of contemplating I became Muslim again, specifically a Sufi because I still wanted to hold onto my spirituality just instead had it reborn and given a proper identity through Islam.

As the months went by I began to realize that my "Just me and God" path was a product of being deceived by the Shaytaan. Because when Adam Alaysalam was created, Iblees did not want to accept that there was prophets and wanted to believe that is was just him and Allah. After realizing this I made and still make supplication to Allah for forgiving me of my shirk and my disbelief. I still fear that Allah will not forgive me for the past mistakes I committed but I always look into revelation when it tells me to not give up on the mercy of Allah.

This was my re-revert story. Jazakallah Khair for reading and salam u alaykum warahamatullah.
