So I was in fbref.com looking at some stats and just had to make a post about how much defensive work Hanson gets through.
I know Villa might defend more than the big 4 teams plus teams may try to play from the back against them more, but even so her stats are just incredible. Effectively according to the Women stats that Opta currently track in the world she effects the game more without the ball than more or less any other forward player. She has 2X the amount of Tackle+Interceptions (83) than anyone else in the WSL. She has won the ball back in the attacking 3rd as much as Hemp and Kelly combined!
All this while still contributing more goal creating actions per 90 than everyone else in the WSL except Reiten and Dali.
I knew she was having a great season but she is a legit monster.
