What these infernal right wing chucklefucks don't understand is that they are NOT a "silent majority." They're a very loud, obnoxious minority at odds with the rest of civilized society. And the rest of us rule the free market they claim to love. We ultimately have the voting power and the financial power to keep these losers in check. There is no future, either social or economic, in right wing bigotry. It's a dead end in terms of civilization. You're either on the winning side of history or the losing side of history, and conservatives are well and truly on the losing side.

Shh. Don't tell them. Just let them win their Darwin Awards in peace. It's how we can still avoid Idiocracy.

Okay, so we're already living in Idiocracy, but at least that's one way things may get a little better. Just saying.

nobody should be a billionaire

even believing in market oriented economics, like, you hit a point in the hundred million mark where there is no longer any material difference in your quality of life if you keep going up, it's just numbers

The only thing MORE gets you is the ability to shape the world like a fuckin oligarch and that's not a desirable outcome for society

As a trans woman, Republicans told me I can't change who I am, so I'm gonna have to stick with calling her what's on her birth certificate.

He's in Florida. If he wore all the makeup he usually does, he'd be arrested.

Ain’t this the truth. I’m a trans man and looked like a boy almost my entire youth since I was about 6 years old. In elementary school, if I went into the girls restroom I’d get in trouble because I looked like a boy, and I would get in trouble if I went into the boys because I was really a girl. I eventually just learned to hold my piss for 10 hours as a little kid because using a public restroom was so stressful and uncomfortable. I started transitioning when I was 18, and I got comfortable going to the men’s. Once there was targeted focus on trans people in bathrooms, I’ve become a little stressed about it again. At that point, I was bald and bearded and looked like a cis man, and actually had nothing to worry about. But still, all it takes is one asshole and with decades of being uncomfortable in public restrooms it can be hard to let go of. I actively avoid the multiple occupancy restrooms at work, and choose the single restroom instead. I’m approaching 40 years old, and public restrooms have been my arch enemy for over 30 years now.

It's real easy to demonize mtf trans individuals that don't pass. I've been thinking of detransitioning because I will never pass and will always be a poster child of what the fascists hate. I feel like I'm just going to cause more harm to the community.

Does your father-in-law realize that a port-a-potty is an all gender bathroom? He’s been using them his entire construction career.

"Now I feel uncomfortable"

Imagine how the other person feels. Every day. For the rest of their life. Because of people like you.

“We are making significant headway.”

Is that factually correct? What headway is Walsh making where? How is that measured? Is the headway he’s making also the headway he wanted to make?

I mean, this guy is a self-proclaimed “theocratic fascist”.

If “theocratic fascists” are making ground I’d like to know about it. Based on facts, please.

From far away I see a total whack job of a frustrated pr*ck filling people with ignorance, bigotry, and hatred. And some of those followers have become violent and/or are making credible threats.

Is that the “headway”? Does that give him the sparkly star he seems to give himself?

I've legit known people for months before they even caught on, and it was never something I tried to hide. It always throws me off when someone's like 'wait your trans??' If it's a guy hitting on me though it always makes me uncomfortable cause I don't know how they'll react. 😕

Edit: thank you everyone! And also for the gold whoever you are! 🥰

Yep, as an ex-catholic I think everyone I know feels the same. No point in organized religion if all it is now is a political stepping stone to promote hate and bigotry
