Agreed. But a general feeling of disappointed or frustration, especially towards particular at bats or plays that dont go our way in the moment, does not make someone some unknowledgeable moron or a pessimistic fan.

I swear 90% of this sub wouldnt be able to actually handle watching the games with a group of more casual fans, like say at a bar or a party. A player can be 5-5 but if they strike out with the bases loaded people are still gonna be at least mildly "upset". Its literally the nature of sports fandom

Reminder: You're not a "doomer" if you're disappointed if the Jays lose to a team thats below .500 at this point in the season. Regardless of how good the other team is on paper. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise

Its because we dont actually have one in the NL with Montreal gone. So theyre like "Philly, why not"
