40 lives have been taken for political gains and no one seems to care. In an society whose soul has not been this would have led to consequences. But we seek to be a dead society at this point. Supreme leader will get re-elected and there will eventually be a civil war.

As a person from minority community, I am scared of never having a quality life and always remaining a second class citizen in country. The fact that I am atheist who dislikes every religion doesn't matter. I will be judged pn the basis of my name. I feel hopeless.

To all the people defending Yogi and his government for what happened on live TV is dumb

First of all such a bizarre incident clearly happened to catch the attention of everyone before it got to Satya pal Malik's interview and secondly this is a governed country, yes no one is defending the mafias and his wrong doings, he definitely deserved more than death for what he has done but killing someone on television is just like thr government announcing that we are the mafia now, fuck governance and fuck everything else everyone's going to be treated this way so probably a message to the people who will speak against the government as well while using lives of such gangsters likes which aren't worth dogshit to anyone, its just their agenda of proving that we can do anything and you just can't do shit about it.

Media going into a zone protected by police without an initial checkpoint and then the chants and everything after the murder while everyone else spectates?, It feels like I'm watching narcos all over again the way Yogi adityanath thinks that he can do anything without having the need to justify anything and that's how they convert their wrongs into rights, first they'll play out all the goody two shoes scenarios like this and then gather blind support of all the dumb people who have elected such illiterate people to represent their vote and then they'll just start bashing out minorities and recieve the same support why? Because Yogi can do anything?

The government and this country is doomed and yeah the first problem was to elect that tyrant Modi and now it has come to this and yet again no one is crying out loud/grieving for Ahmed, people like that are bound to and should end like this but public assassinations backed up by the government?, the cries are for the government and democracy which don't exist due to the BJPs rule.

Adulthood can be so isolating

Saturday afternoon. Thought I'd call up a friend to talk or make a plan to hang out in the evening. I was going through my contact list and saw more colleagues and random contacts than actual friends. It hit me that there are only 3-4 with whom I actually interact on a more regular basis and know what's going on in their lives. Pinged them and we made plans to make plans and then all of us just felt too lazy to go through with any of them. This isn't even the first time something like this has happened. Damn, I guess it's just a part of growing up. It was so much easier in childhood when we all just ran out to play in the evenings and our mums had to literally drag us back home.
