Just wanted to hear some unpopular opinions regarding the celebrities that this sub loves!! Here’s 2 of mine:

_ JLo should’ve just stuck to acting: while her music career has seen many successes, I always thought JLo could’ve become acting royalty (or at least rom-com royalty) if she spent all her time honing her acting skills and participating in more acting projects to fully establish her acting credentials (even though Maid In Manhattan & Monster In Law were already legends). Her music has never been a bright spot to me, derivative, boring, inconsistent (although I greatly enjoyed her Spanish-language album) & borderline culture vulture at times. In my opinion, she should’ve just tried to ace as an actress and consider singing a little side job instead of the opposite.

_ Lady Gaga’s best acting until now has been in House Of Gucci: the movie itself was overwrought, messy and inconsistent. The accent was a mess (even though after looking up real life interviews I thought it was pretty accurate to how the real life Patrizia spoke English). However, Lady Gaga’s acting was one of the bright spots of the movie. I wholeheartedly believe she delivered an amazing performance as Patrizia and that it was much better than her lauded performances in A Star Is Born and American Horror Story! It was an outstanding performance in a bad movie. I hated that the combination of bad press towards the accents & then the lukewarm reception towards the movie itself had people turning their backs and writing her off. Not to mention the legendary press tour where people were mad & annoyed that Lady Gaga, the poster child for camp and theatrics in music, was also gonna be camp & theatrical when talking abt acting.
