What Deb does to Dex in the final seasons isn’t THAT bad

Yeah, which really isn’t a bad explanation of her feelings given they have an incredibly complicated relationship that before he confesses, she absolutely cannot understand in totality. It makes more sense than I think we give it credit for, it just seems as though the series sort of hamfisted it

Haha I do agree w that. Honestly it would’ve been done better if it had been a slow burn with weird sexual tension she couldn’t resolve. In his head, she is like any other woman and I could see him sleeping with her (in the book version) because he is soooo apathetic to their brother-sister relationship.

The show it comes from nowhere and is just ridiculous lol. But I think the book gives it more context and makes it less “out-there”

false

Bit of a clickbait title, but I think the hate for Deb professing her love for Dexter in the final seasons might be somewhat misplaced.

I totally agree that the presentation of her feelings and the lack of ANY lead in at all is what drowns it as a plotline. But if you read the first Dexter book, he constantly sexualizes her, (both in his head and verbally to her directly) and in some lines it seems like she gets something out of it in an odd way.

I always hated that plotline and finally read this book this week and it was a huge “Ohhhh, that’s why” moment. It seemed far less out of the blue. I haven’t gotten to the rest of the series yet in book form but I assume it only continues to flesh out further.

For those who have read and watched, what do you think?

How do all of you move water to trails without hoses or faucets?

Could do 5 gal canisters but seems like so much lugging around… or these big 30 some odd gallon water caddy’s, but will the water get warm in the trailer while you were riding?

Just a quick discussion! How does everyone move their water? What’s the best way in your experience?
