I thought this would be as easy as picking up a hammer drill, slamming a few anchors into the ceiling, and hanging up the lights (50-75 pounds max). Now I'm reading about the possibility of compromising post-tensioned cables, drilling into a pipe or air duct, and a whole host of other potential nightmare problems.

What would be the most effective way of hanging something in this case? I live in a newly constructed high rise apartment building. Have all the tools you could need, and would patch up the holes before moving out, but want to make sure I'm being safe and approaching this the right way.

Painting over old oak cabinets with All-in-one systems?

Need help here. Family member wants to use an All-in-one paint as they think it will be the easiest, less time consuming, and better looking. They saw many ads online and tutorials that have them sold on it.

Personally I am old school and like to prep my Oak poly finish and use a good shellac or pre-cat primer with a lacquer top coat.

What is your opinion on their All-in-one cabinet resurfacing?

Window not closing tightly causing noise and draft

The bottom left section of the window does not close tightly. As shown a card can slided in after closing the window and it moves quite easily if you push on that section. There is a draft from that corner and the road noise is much louder than in an adjacent room where the window does not have this issue. Unsure if it's the seal or closing meachanism causing this and if weathering tape could be a solution?
