Williamson did not mention antisemitism. Marlon is misquoting, therefore lying. You'd think there'd be better examples available if Williamson really was antisemitic.
There are over a dozen examples, but "Williamson didn't mention Antisemitism" is a damn weird excuse for this one. He defends an expelled Antisemite. "Peter Sutcliffe shouldn't have gone to prison" is still a misogynistic statement even if I don't mention why he was, yes?
He didn't defend an act of antisemitism. It's telling that the two tweets you highlight above are four years apart. I think it's called clutching at straws. Your analogy is very poor as you haven't made it clear what Williamson knew at the time of his post. Desperate stuff.
Chilson is one of the most vile Antisemites expelled from Labour. He literally claims modern Israelites are not real Jews but secretly follow a pagan God of child sacrifice. Williamson thinks he should be in the Labour Party. Case. Closed.

I always joke about Chris Williamson - I think the single stupidest English politician I’ve ever clapped eyes on & there are plenty of contenders - but maybe there’s more to him. Has he always been Labour? No past links to Combat 18 for instance?
