I think this has been on most 35+ minds lately. Seems like with the sudden return of 90s lewks as a "trend" and the official "skinny jeans are out" articles, there's a distinct feeling that we're a bit...lost. The classics and comfort zone and simple basics aren't working and looking fresh.

But cropped faux band tees, JNCO style wide legs, huge chonky platform shoes, naive floral hand drawn prints on mesh tees + butterfly clips aren't the way to go either.

So how do you update just enough to feel current and not 2012, but not like you're chasing trends much better off for the 17-21 set?
