I have seen several videos on YouTube on why people stopped watching Supergirl after season one. Not that it was ever that good of a first season, in my opinion. And I have seen several supercut videos on the first three seasons tackling feminist topics including gun control in season three and the SJWs (social justice warriors) in season two which I actually laughed at in some moments of those videos. As well as tugging my neck collar going "uuuhhh....." because I was left confused as to what they were going for back in 2015-2020 when the show was on the air. But upon reaching towards season four when Jon Cryer made his appearance as the iconic Lex Luthor, I was cheering for joy that he would save the show from being god-awful. And in the second half of season five after Crisis on Infinite Earths, oh yeah. He definitely made the show watchable for some people.

So, I have to ask. Is Jon Cryer's Lex Luthor really the hero of Supergirl's own show, or is he not?
