Seriously, what is the deal with this character? I mean obviously he briefs Sgt. Hicox on Operation Kino, but why Mike Myers for the cameo? I've always praised Tarantino for being able to coax these amazing performances out of seemingly unknown or washed-up actors, but I've never been able to wrap my head around this. The ridiculous make-up and accent make it seem like this was an un-used character idea from an Austin Powers movie or something. Don't get me wrong, I love those movies and some of the characters Myers created, but his inclusion in this scene has always seemed so out of place to me. Like, compare him to the guy that plays Churchhill in that scene or even Michael Fassbender and then it seems like he is doing a high parody of British people. Idk maybe I'm being too harsh but I've always thought this was one of the weirdest castings in a Tarantino movie.
