LOOK BELOW AT the difference...

Now, Chris Reeve, notwithstanding (I also really like Cavill's FACE and Tyler's FACE... they look like Superman), BUT I think Routh NOW looks facially most like a Bronze Age/classic Superman... not quite Swan, but somewhere between a Byrne and a Wayne Boring Superman...

His build increased from Returns, in which he looked not mannish enough. His face was too young man, not quite middle-aged enough and his suit made him look very trim. The Returns Suit was the problem. Brandon himself was FIRE!

I just want to praise the aesthetics. Had Brandon been a little older (like 5 years) in Returns and had a better costume designer, he would have been PERFECT. Singer's vision was just too off... it was afraid to be its own thing and the plot didn't have any real substance.

But Brandon, like other actors, really gets the point of Superman.
