Celebration of the Greatest Epoch in American History

Bing Crosby, the famous actor/singer, was the total opposite of his Hollywood image of a kind, compassionate man (in his portrayal of a priest in the hit film, "Going My Way.")

Behind that very misleading image he was very abusive, cruel and narcissistic. He physically abused his 4 sons from they were children to when they were adults. He often called them demeaning names, slapped them, kicked them, whipped them with a studded belt until they bled. He even set up a trust account for them with the provision that none of them could have access to funds until they reached 65 years of age.

Crosby mistreated his children emotionally and physically so badly that two of them (Lindsay and Dennis) died by suicide from self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

I was acquainted with 2 of his children and witnessed Bing Crosby physically abuse them - in public.

Bing Crosby and Bob Hope made 7 comedic films together and the public naturally believed they were the best of friends. But in truth, Bob Hope despised Bing Crosby and would not speak to him unless they were filming a movie.
