Builder Koray Kolege purchased a property in Melbourne’s Pascoe Vale South, close to where he grew up. And while he couldn’t save the old weatherboard, he set about creating a new home that neighbours could appreciate.

The former MasterChef star is right at home in a light-drenched apartment some 70 floors up in Melbourne’s CBD. And although, he admits, he’s scared of heights, the incredible view is one he’ll never tire of.

The home is well known by locals for its striking mural on the front wall. Created by Australian artist Elliott Routledge, it features a superhero in an urban jungle.
