While short, this provides more context, as well as interesting info on how Yoshida and the other devs operate:
“I’m not attending the recordings either. Because I’m not the game’s scenarist. During the scenario-focused meetings we’ve had, we already had a lot of discussions like “this line would be better that way, to show protagonist Clive’s psychology” and those remarks are taken into account during recordings.”
Also, it's stupid because of course he's gonna have a personality/specific pyschological traits, but reading that about Clive makes me very excited to see what they do with him.
